Pricing & Value

Why are Daniel's House products priced higher than drugstore skincare?+
Because the formulas are different. Drugstore products are built around a target retail price — the formula gets engineered backward from that price, which usually means under-dosing the actives, substituting cheaper ingredient forms (magnesium oxide instead of glycinate, ascorbyl palmitate instead of L-ascorbic acid), and padding the bottle with fillers. Daniel's House is built the other way around: we pick clinically-validated active forms at the doses used in the original studies, manufacture at FDA-registered facilities that produce formulas for leading DTC brands stocked at Sephora, and the price reflects what that costs. A $14 drugstore vitamin C serum and our $34 Boost aren't the same product at different prices — they're different products. The price gap is the active-ingredient cost gap. The same logic applies on the supplement side: cheaper ashwagandha is generic powder, cheaper magnesium is the oxide form that mostly passes through unabsorbed, cheaper probiotics die in stomach acid. We pay for the forms that actually work.
How does Daniel's House compare to brands like SkinCeuticals, Drunk Elephant, Sunday Riley, or Glossier?+
We sit in the same formulation tier and underprice the brand-name luxury comparison. The clearest example: Defense uses the C E Ferulic architecture — L-ascorbic acid + ferulic acid + vitamin E at the concentrations validated in the foundational 2005 Duke University study. SkinCeuticals owns that name and charges $185 for it. Drunk Elephant's equivalent (C-Firma) is $80. Defense is $74 with niacinamide and panthenol added on top. Bounce stacks five actives (retinol + Vit C + HA + Matrixyl peptides + botanical complex) where Drunk Elephant's A-Passioni is a single-active 1% retinol at $74. Sunday Riley's flagship lactic acid treatment (Good Genes) is $85; our Renewal multi-action peeling pads are $48. Glossier's positioning is different — they sell a lifestyle aesthetic at a more accessible price point, but their formulations are simpler and the marketing-spend-to-ingredient-spend ratio is higher than ours. Where we save money is not on the formulas — it's on the brand-marketing markup that adds 50-100% to luxury skincare prices and the lifestyle-positioning markup that adds 30-50% to category-defining DTC brands.
How is the most expensive product (Defense at $74) different from a $30 vitamin C serum?+
Three things. (1) Active form: Defense uses 15% pure L-ascorbic acid — the gold-standard vitamin C form that's been clinically validated since the 1990s. Most $30 serums use cheaper derivatives (ascorbyl palmitate, sodium ascorbyl phosphate) which are more stable in formula but don't deliver the same photoprotection. (2) Stabilization architecture: Defense includes 0.5% ferulic acid, which doubles the photoprotection of vitamin C and vitamin E according to the foundational research. Most affordable vitamin C serums skip the ferulic acid because it's expensive. (3) Supporting actives: Defense adds 4% niacinamide, 1% vitamin E, and 1% panthenol — three additional clinically-validated actives at clinical doses. A $30 vitamin C serum is one active at an uncertain dose; Defense is four actives at validated doses. The price difference is the ingredient cost difference.
If I can only afford one or two products, where do I start?+
The most cost-effective entry to the line is the Skin Starter Bundle ($108 for three products: Wash + Balance + Soft, with the 10% bundle discount). Three products is a minimum-viable routine that won't compete with itself, and the bundle saves vs buying à la carte. If you want a single product to start with, Defense ($74) is the highest-leverage choice because daily antioxidant protection is the most-evidenced anti-aging intervention in dermatology — it does more long-term work than any other single product. Shield ($42) is a close second for the same reason. We'd rather you start small with two great products you'll use consistently than try a 12-product routine you can't sustain.
What's the savings if I buy a bundle vs individual products?+
Curated routines (AM Routine, PM Routine, Daniel's Daily Skincare, Ultimate, Mom's, etc.) all save 15% off the list price. Targeted bundles (Acne, Dryness, Anti-Aging, Sensitivity, etc.) save 10% off. Build Your Own routines are tiered: pick 3+ and save 10%, pick 6+ and save 12%, pick 9+ and save 15%. Subscribe to any bundle and stack an additional 10% off. For the AM Routine specifically: list price $308, one-time bundle price $261.80 (15% off, save $46.20), subscribed price $235.62 (23.5% off, save $72.38). The PM Routine: list $282, one-time $239.70, subscribed $215.73. The savings get larger as the bundle grows because the absolute discount scales with the line total.
How long should one bottle last me?+
Most products are sized for a 2-3 month supply at standard daily use. Cleanser (Wash) lasts 2-3 months at twice-daily use. Serums (Boost, Defense, Bounce, Firm, Plump) last 8-12 weeks at pea-size doses applied to face and neck. Moisturizers (Soft, Mist) last 2-3 months. Awake lasts 3-4 months — you use very little. Shield sunscreen lasts 4-6 weeks at a properly-sized daily dose (a nickel-sized amount for face plus neck), so it's the SKU most worth subscribing for. Mask and Polish are weekly-use, so a single bottle lasts 4-6 months. Per-month effective cost across a full routine is therefore lower than the list price suggests — at base subscription pricing, a complete AM routine costs about $74-87 per month.
What if I don't like the products at the price I paid?+
Every order is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Try it for a month. If it doesn't deliver what we said it would, return it and we'll refund the entire purchase — opened bottles, partial use, doesn't matter. Return shipping is on us. We'd rather you give an honest product a real shot and not love it than feel locked into something that doesn't fit. Full returns policy here.

Shipping & Orders

How fast does shipping arrive?+
Standard orders ship within 1-2 business days from our USA fulfillment center. Domestic delivery typically takes 3-5 business days. Free shipping on all orders over $75.
Do you ship internationally?+
Yes — we ship to most countries. International orders typically take 7-14 business days. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.
How can I track my order?+
You'll receive a tracking link via email as soon as your order ships. Click the link anytime to see exactly where your package is.
Can I change or cancel my order?+
Yes — if your order hasn't shipped yet. Email us within 2 hours of placing your order at daniel@danielshousewellness.com and we'll catch it before it leaves the warehouse.

Returns & Guarantee

What's your return policy?+
Every order is backed by a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, counted from the day your order arrives. If you're not happy with what you bought — for any reason — return it for a full refund. Opened or unopened, partial bottle or empty, doesn't matter. We'd rather you give an honest product a real try and not love it than be locked into a routine that doesn't fit. The policy applies to single products, bundles, and subscription shipments equally.
How do I start a return?+
Email returns@danielshousewellness.com with your order number, or use the returns portal in your account. We'll email you a prepaid return shipping label within one business day — return shipping is on us, never the customer. Drop the package at any carrier location; once we receive it, refunds process to your original payment method within 5 business days.
Can I return a bundle — even just part of it?+
Yes — full or partial. Return the entire bundle for a complete refund of what you paid. Or return individual products from a bundle and get a prorated refund based on the bundle's per-unit price (not retail). Example: the AM Routine costs $261.80 for 7 products, so each is effectively $37.40. Return one for $37.40 back, two for $74.80, and so on. This way the bundle math stays fair: you keep the bundle discount on what you choose to keep, and don't get retail credit for items that came in at a bundled rate. The 30-day window starts when the bundle arrived.
How do returns work for Build Your Own routines?+
Build Your Own routines follow the same 30-day window and prorated rule, with one nuance: your discount tier is locked at purchase. If you ordered Mix 9 at 15% off and return 4 products, you keep your 15% discount on the 5 products you kept — we don't drop you back down to Mix 6's 12% retroactively. The refund is calculated on the prorated per-unit price you actually paid. Example: 9 products for $306 = $34.00/each. Return 4, get $136 back, keep the remaining 5 at $34.00/each. Same applies for partial returns on Mix 3 and Mix 6 tiers — your locked-in tier stays locked.
What about subscription orders?+
The same 30-day window applies to every shipment — not just your first order. Don't love this month's box? Return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of what you paid. Cancel, pause, or skip your next shipment anytime from your account — no fees, no minimum commitment, no friction. The next shipment only ships if you're still actively subscribed at the renewal date.
What if I've already used most of the product?+
Still eligible within 30 days. Supplements need a few weeks to show effect; skincare needs at least a full cycle of use to know if it works. You can't know if a product fits without actually trying it. Send back what's left — partial bottles, nearly-empty bottles, doesn't matter to us. If a third of a 30-serving bottle and you want a refund, you get a refund. The point of the guarantee is to let you commit fully without the fear that you're locking in something that won't work.
What about damaged shipments, wrong items, or skin reactions?+
Damaged or wrong items: email support@danielshousewellness.com with a photo. We'll ship the correct/replacement item immediately at no charge — and you don't need to return what arrived broken. Adverse reactions: stop using the product right away, then email us with details. We'll refund in full even outside the 30-day window if a product caused an adverse reaction. Reactions are rare with our formulations, but when they happen they're never the customer's fault — and we don't make people pay for a product that hurt them.

Subscribe & Save

How does Subscribe & Save work?+
Pick any product or bundle and choose the Monthly delivery option — we'll ship it every 30 days. Every subscribe option gets an extra 10% off. On a single product, that's 10% off the regular price. On a routine or bundle, that 10% stacks on top of the routine/bundle discount — so an AM Routine at 15% off becomes 23.5% off when subscribed. You can change frequency, swap products, skip a delivery, or cancel anytime — no calls, no friction. Manage everything from your account.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes — completely. Cancel from your account dashboard with one click. No phone calls, no retention pitches, no penalty. The discount is our thank-you for the commitment, not a trap.
Can I change shipping frequency?+
Yes — the default is 30 days, but you can set 45 or 60 day intervals if a bottle lasts you longer. Update from your account anytime.
Do routines and bundles work with Subscribe & Save?+
Yes — every routine and bundle on the site can be subscribed to, and every subscription gets an extra 10% off on top of the routine or bundle discount. This includes the 10 curated routines (Daniel's Daily Supplements, Daniel's Daily Skincare, AM, PM, Foundation, Workout, Longevity, Mom's, Ariana's, Ultimate), the 20 targeted bundles, and the tiered Build Your Own routine you create from the picker (10% at Mix 3, 12% at Mix 6, 15% at Mix 9+). Example: a $308 AM Routine is $261.80 one-time (15% off), or $235.62 subscribed (15% routine + 10% subscribe = 23.5% total). Cancel or pause anytime.
How does the Build Your Own routine discount work?+
Pick more, save more — Build Your Own is tiered: Mix 3 saves 10%, Mix 6 saves 12%, and Mix 9 or more saves 15%. The discount applies to whatever combination of skincare and supplements you pick. Subscribe to stack an extra 10% on top of any tier. Example: pick 9 products totaling $360 → $306 one-time (15% off), or $275.40 subscribed (15% + 10% = 23.5% total). Curated routines (AM, PM, Mom's, Ariana's, etc.) all sit at 15% — so once you cross the 9-product line, you're at the same discount whether you pick yourself or use one of Daniel's routines.
Can I subscribe to a Build Your Own routine?+
Yes. Build your custom routine in the picker (any tier — 3, 6, or 9+ products), choose Monthly delivery, and we'll ship that exact combination every 30 days. You get your tier discount (10%, 12%, or 15%) plus an additional 10% off for subscribing — they stack. Want to swap something next month? Edit your subscription from your account — no need to cancel and rebuild.
What is Smart Refill?+
Smart Refill is the smarter way to subscribe to a mixed routine. A standard monthly subscription ships every product every month — but real products don't all run out at the same pace. A 3-month NAD+ bottle on a 30-day cadence means you stockpile two unused bottles a year. Smart Refill solves this: each product in your routine ships only when you actually run out. A 1-month Multi ships monthly, a 2-month Wash ships every 60 days, a 3-month NAD+ every 90 days. Same routine, no stockpiling, no waste — and on the Ultimate Routine alone, Smart Refill saves roughly $2,929 per year versus monthly delivery of everything.
How is Smart Refill different from monthly Subscribe & Save?+
Both keep you subscribed; both stack the 10% subscriber discount on top of the routine/bundle discount. The difference is cadence per-product. Monthly sends every product on the same 30-day cycle — simple, predictable, but you over-receive products that last longer than a month. Smart Refill ships each product on its actual usage cycle (30 / 60 / 90 days depending on bottle size) so you only pay for what you'll actually use that month. Lower average monthly bill, less clutter on your shelf, same total products over the year. Choose whichever fits your style — both are available on every routine and most bundles, both can be paused or cancelled anytime from your account.
Which routines work with Smart Refill?+
Most routines and bundles support Smart Refill — including Daniel's Daily Supplements, Daniel's Daily Skincare, the AM Routine, PM Routine, Mom's Routine, Ariana's Routine, the Ultimate Routine, and nearly every concern bundle (Sleep, Energy, Stress, Anti-Aging, Glow, Hair & Nails, Travel, Cycle, Metabolic, and most others), plus any Build Your Own routine you create. A handful of bundles whose products all ship on the same cadence don't offer Smart Refill — the Workout Routine, Foundation Routine, Longevity Routine (all-supplement, all-monthly), and the Skin Starter Bundle (a small skincare bundle on the same cycle). For those, Monthly Subscribe is the right option. The product page will show whichever cadence options apply.

Ingredients & Safety

Where are products manufactured?+
All Daniel's House products are manufactured in FDA-registered, GMP-certified facilities in the USA. Every batch is third-party tested for purity, potency, and contamination before it leaves the warehouse.
Are products vegan?+
Most are vegan — our skincare line is 100% vegan and cruelty-free. In supplements, exceptions include Flow (fish-based omega-3) and Collagen (bovine collagen). Each product page lists this clearly.
Can I use products if I'm pregnant or nursing?+
For skincare, avoid retinol (Bounce) and the resurfacing treatments — Renewal (multi-acid peeling pads) and Clear (2% salicylic). Mask contains salicylic acid at gentle weekly-treatment levels — most providers consider it acceptable but some advise against any salicylic during pregnancy. Fully pregnancy-safe alternatives include Wash, Balance (glycolic at 3.5% — confirm with provider; some recommend avoiding all AHAs), Boost (gentle peptides + hyaluronic), Plump, Defense (Vit C/E/Niacinamide/Ferulic — confirm with provider), Soft (multi-weight HA moisturizer — no retinoids), Mist (pure HA mist — the safest choice), Awake (peptide + DCX complex — no retinol or vitamin-A derivatives), Glow (HA spheres in squalane), Polish (physical exfoliant), and Shield (mineral SPF — pregnancy-essential). For supplements, consult your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement during pregnancy or nursing.
Are products gluten-free?+
Yes — all Daniel's House products are gluten-free. Common allergen warnings (soy, dairy, tree nuts, fish) are listed on each product page where applicable.
Can I take supplements with prescription medication?+
For specific medications, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Supplements that warrant extra caution: Tranquil (ashwagandha) with thyroid medication, Flow (omega-3) with blood thinners, Restore (turmeric) with certain anti-inflammatory drugs. Most stacks are well-tolerated, but your healthcare provider knows your situation best.
How do I store products?+
Skincare: cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Most products last 6-12 months after opening. Supplements: cool, dry place. No refrigeration required even for our probiotic (Biome uses enteric delivery technology for shelf stability).

Using the Products

In what order should I apply skincare?+
Three rules cover almost everything: thinnest to thickest, water before oil, actives at night, antioxidants in the morning.

AM: Wash → Balance (glycolic exfoliant) → Boost (peptide growth factor) → Plump (on damp skin) → Defense (CE Ferulic) → Soft (moisturizer) → Shield (mineral SPF).

PM: Wash → Renewal (multi-acid peeling pads) or Bounce (5-active retinol) — pick one, alternate nights → Firm (peptides) → Mist (HA mist) → Awake (peptide serum) → Glow (HA-in-squalane seal). Add Mask or Polish 1–2x/week, replacing your treatment that night.

Never stack retinol and AHA the same night — your barrier will tell you why.
How long until I see results?+
It depends on the product. Sleep and energy supplements often shift within 1-2 weeks. Skincare changes are typically visible at 4-6 weeks for tone/texture, 8-12 weeks for fine line reduction. Longevity supplements compound over months and years. Consistency beats intensity — daily use is the variable that matters most.
Can I combine multiple products?+
Yes — most are designed to be combined. Our routines and bundles are pre-built combinations Daniel actually uses. The main rules: don't double up on retinol products in skincare (Bounce + Renewal alternate, never together); follow caffeine cutoff times for stim-containing supplements like Surge.
Do I need to take supplements with food?+
Fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) absorb best with meals containing some fat. This includes Multi, Sunshine, Flow, and Vitality. Calm and Synapse can be taken with or without food. Each product page specifies the optimal timing.
What if a product doesn't work for me?+
Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. Wellness is individual — what works for thousands may not be right for you. We'd rather you find a product that does work than feel stuck with one that doesn't.
